School starts 8:45am
School ends at 3:15pm
Our wrap-around club opens from 7:30am via the side gate.
Our main school gates open from 8:30am with classroom doors open for a ‘soft start’ to the day from 8:35am. Doors and gates close at 8:45am when registers are completed. After this time, children will need to use the main school office to enter.
We have our whole school assemblies after registration before our first lessons start at 9:00am. Assemblies are an opportunity for us to come together as a school and reflect on school and British values, world or local culture, news and events, pupil leadership, music and celebrating each others success.
For Year 1 and above, morning break (and our first opportunity of the day to engage with our OPAL play offer) is at 10:25-10:40am. Reception and Nursery have access to their outside areas throughout the morning.
After further lesson time, lunchtime is between 12:00-1:00pm (YN, YR, Y1, Y2) and 12:10-1:00pm (Y3, Y4). Children have access to the school hall for school dinners or lunchboxes from home, the school playground and school field. We typically play outside in all weathers and children have access to their welly boots and water-proofs as needed.
After lunch, further learning takes place before our classroom doors open to release at the end of the day at 3:15pm. Children attending wrap-around or enrichment clubs have a snack and move to their club space. Clubs finish at 4:15pm and wrap-around is available until 6:00pm.
Children in reception and nursery have a slightly different structure although start and end of the day times remain the same.
